Associate Memberships
Becoming an Associate Member allows individuals and businesses the opportunity to identify with and show support for the Lutheran Community Care Centre. As an Associate Member you will receive:

• the opportunity to participate in the corporation in an advisory capacity
• direct mailing of our newsletter 'CORNERSTONE'
• a copy of the Annual Report
• an income tax credit for your membership contribution
• certificate of membership

Your membership contribution will be used to support the following services as well as other projects of the Lutheran Community Care Centre:

• Pastoral Care Service
• Counselling Service
• Client Emergency Assistance Service
• Volunteer Recognition Service
• Street Ministry
• Development of a Life Lease Housing project

Memorials
Memorial Gift Packets are available through the Lutheran Community Care Centre. The packet contains everything you need to make a living memorial gift to the Care Centre and extend your sympathy to the bereaved. They are convenient to use but also a thoughtful tribute. A charitable receipt is provided for all memorial gifts.

Good News Donations
A colourful card announces to the recipient that you have made a charitable donation to the Lutheran Community Care Centre in honour of their special occasion. Great for anniversaries, birthdays or other celebrations especially when 'best wishes only' are requested. Pick one up or email your request today!

Development Fund
Purpose:
As good stewards of the blessings, opportunities, and abilities bestowed on us, a Development Fund has been established for the primary purpose of providing finances to assist in the pursuit of the objectives of the Lutheran Community Care Centre in the future.

Your Gift as a Lasting Contribution:
Your contribution to the Development Fund is special. All contributions to the Fund are held in trust according to your written directions. The interest earned on the investments is used to support the programming of the Lutheran Community Care Centre. In this way your gift will provide support for the work of the Lutheran Community Care Centre and benefit the people in the community we serve for years and years to come.

How Should I Give?
Once you have decided to make a lasting contribution to the Lutheran Community Care Centre Development Fund there are several ways to give. Here are some of the common ways:

• Gift of cash payable in one sum or pledged over a period of time
• Bequest. Through your Will, name the LCCC as a beneficiary of a specific amount, a percentage, or the residue of your estate.
• Life Insurance. You can transfer a policy, name the LCCC as a beneficiary, assign your annual dividends, or take out a new policy for the benefit of LCCC.

Each of these ways have different tax-saving benefits to you. A representative of the LCCC will be happy to assist you in all arrangements.

A Special Recognition Program of the Lutheran Community Care Centre

In recognition and appreciation for the many faithful supporters of the Care Centre, who throughout the year make donations to the Care Centre, whether it be Memorials, Associate Membership donations, responses to special appeals, or in honour of special occasions give a cumulative amount of $500 or more in a given year. These individuals are truly a part of a Friendship Circle of the Care Centre that deserves special recognition. Members of the Friendship Circle receive a special Certificate in its own Gold Foil-Stamped Jacket. Members are listed on our Friendship Circle plaque that is proudly displayed in our office.
