Employment OpportunitiesThe Lutheran Community Care Centre is currently accepting applications for the following positions: Development Officer This is an opportunity to build upon your communication, marketing, financial planning, and interpersonal skills as you facilitate charitable giving in support of the social and spiritual services provided to individuals and families by the Lutheran Community Care Centre of Thunder Bay.Adult Protective Service Worker The Adult Protective Service Worker (APSW) supports adults with a developmental disability who are living on their own to live as independently, safely and securely as possible in the community. Advocacy, case management, and facilitation of person-directed planning are primary functions of the APSW. Utilizing generic community resources, nurturing natural support and developing community capacity are methods used to minimize involvement in the formal support system. The APSW’s efforts are directed by and in response to the interests expressed by the individual. |
